An encyclopedia is considered a book, therefore, Wikipedia, an on-line encyclopedia, could be considered within this permitted use. However, Wikipedia is licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0 and in some cases the GFDL, and as such "permitted use" for Wikipedia alone is not enough. It should also be "permitted use" for all derivative works.
