개요

수학 등에서 굵은 글씨를 표현하기 위한 글꼴을 말한다. 글자의 세로선을 한 번 더 긋는 방식으로 많이 사용한다.

유래

수학 등에서는 벡터를 비롯한 수많은 곳에 굵은 글자가 사용되는데, 칠판에서 글자를 쓰면 굵은 글자가 잘 구분되지 않아 이것을 구분하기 위해 만들어졌다.
