개요
0.99...=1 은 참이다.
증명
일단 0.99999...는 초항이 0.9이고 공비가 [math]\displaystyle{ \frac{1}{10} }[/math]인 무한등비급수로 볼 수 있다.
따라서
[math]\displaystyle{ \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty }\sum_{k=1}^{n}\left ( \frac{9}{10} \right )\left ( \frac{1}{10} \right )^k }[/math]=0.999...
[math]\displaystyle{ \frac{9}{10}\lim_{n\rightarrow \infty }\sum_{k=1}^{n}\left ( \frac{1}{10} \right )^k }[/math]
자,[math]\displaystyle{ \sum_{k=1}^{n}\left ( \frac{1}{10} \right )^k }[/math]는 첫째항이 1이고 공비가 [math]\displaystyle{ \frac{1}{10} }[/math]인
등비수열의 합입니다.
[math]\displaystyle{ a_{n}=10^{-n},\sum_{k=1}^{n}10^{-n}=\frac{10-10^{-n+1}}{9} }[/math]
그래서 [math]\displaystyle{ \frac{9}{10}\lim_{n\rightarrow \infty }\frac{10-10^{-n+1}}{9} }[/math]
[math]\displaystyle{ \frac{9}{10}\times \frac{10}{9}=1 }[/math]
끝.
존나 어렵죠? 그래서 쉬운 정리!
보다 간단한 증명
{{{1}}}
0.99....를 x로 놨을때,
x=0.99999999999999....
10x=9.999999999999999....
10x-x=9.9999....- 0.99999... 이므로,
9x=9
x=1
따라서 0.9999... 는 1 이 된다.
더 쉬운 증명
1은 1.000000000000....과 같다. 즉 1=1.0000000.....
1.0000000.....에서 0.99999....를 뺀다.
그 결과는 0.000000000000.......
소수점 아래로 0이 무한대로 나온다.
즉 1에서 0.99.. 뺀건 0이랑 별 차이 없다고 볼 수 있다.
그래서 0.99는 1과 별 차이 없다.
